Sumitha We use Kalonji in a lot of dishes. It is more like an everyday spice for me. Have not really done anything special since I always use it for my everyday homely kinda food I use it for tempering my Regular masoor Dal too. But we use it mostly with veggies and fish but not with chicken/mutton We use Kalonji and Green Chillies for tempering simple sabzi like dry aloo-gobi or dry aloo sabzi etc. mostly
